On February 20th at Les Rendez-vous du cinéma québécois, Erik Cimon (Les citadins du rebut global) presents the New Wave movement of the Montreal scene in his documentary Montreal New Wave. "Out to meet those who were the key figures, plunging passionately in rare archival documents, Montreal New Wave illuminates this crucial history page, but unrecognized." Marie Martine's first band, Blue Oil,  was discovered at the last minute during the editing of the documentary. The team managed to "save the furniture" as these three women were the "Three Caryatids supported alone the Montreal's female rock scene" (Journal de Montreal, January 27, 1984).
